SEMI-PMU

Permanent cosmetic makeup (semi-PMU), also known as micro-pigmentation, is an aesthetic procedure similar to tattooing, designed to benefit anyone who wishes to have a natural enhancement to their appearance without the use of makeup.

It can be used for eyebrows, eyeliner above and below eyelashes, lip lines, full lip color. To produce the desired results, permanent makeup usually requires one or more touch-up procedures after initial application.

Those who are extremely physically active but want to maintain a better appearance can do so with permanent makeup.

It is especially beneficial for people who suffer from makeup allergies and can’t wear traditional cosmetics.

The most obvious benefit of semi-PMU for people with busy schedules is that it can simply save you time.

People with physical disabilities or impaired motor skills, such as arthritis, Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis, may want permanent makeup because it's difficult for them to apply makeup themselves.

BEFORE SEMI-PMU

Do not schedule an appointment prior to major events, such as a vacation, wedding, social outing, etc.

If you are planning a lip color procedure and have ever experienced a cold sore, even one time in your life, it is recommended you obtain a prescribed anti-viral medication. The medication must be taken two days prior to the procedure. Even if you have never experienced a cold sore during your lifetime, it is recommended that you obtain an anti-viral medication to be on the safe side.

If you are required to take antibiotic medication prior to seeing your dentist, you will need to take antibiotic medication prior to having your procedure done.

It is necessary to be off of Accutane for one year, prior to all procedures.

It is necessary to be off Retin A or Renova for 30 days, prior to a procedure.

Try to avoid aspirin products for 7 days prior to all procedures unless medically necessary. Tylenol is okay.

Try to avoid Vitamin E and Niacin for two weeks prior to all procedures unless medically necessary.

Avoid alcohol the night before all procedures

Semi-PMU is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, is not feeling well or have your period.
